The classic styled Pre-channel - with the tone circuitry in the preamp's input stage - houses two channels, Clean and Drive. In the First channel clean is what you get, the tone is warm and well defined even on high volume levels the amp delivers real rich clean tones. Switching to the Drive channel, preserves the same sound character. With just a minimum of drive you will have the same great clean with just a little edgy on top. From here on every millimeter on the dial will give you great new distortion tones to experiment with.

The Post-channel - with the tone circuitry in the preamp output stage - houses the Gain channel. This is where things really begin to rockHere the overdrive takes you a few steps further and turning up the gain control to 20 will shake the floor you're standing on. If this is all too much, turning down the gain control to 10 will ease you up a little and soon you'll be caught by a superb nowadays rock sound. The MULTITONE-50 with its 50 Watts power amp feels perfectly at home on smaller stages and pubs & clubs. The MULTITONE-100 delivers 100 Watts of real tube power and prefers big stages and concert halls.

Its Clean sounds are rich and well defined. The Reverb, a classic long scale Accutronics tank, is bright, open and has generous depth. The tone control is very responsive, giving you a wide pallet of sounds on both channels. A NEW feature is our choise of "Normal and Bright Clean" inputs. The "Bright Clean" input, specially designed for use of humbucker pick-ups, is slightly trimmed and excessive mids are filtered out leaving a wonderful, well balanced, clean tone. The Overdrive channel is not affected by this filter. This channel, with its dual gain control, offers everything from an edgy clean with a nice sustain and moderate distortion to an exciting crunch. Moving further up the scale you will find pure saturation with infinite sustain, this is high-gain rockers paradise.

The power amp is equipped with a tube rectifier simulation circuitry and delivers 40 soft-clipping Watts for creating exiting edgy tones if it is driven to full output. The Clean channel is beautifully warm with a natural clearness and openness and can be used in almost any music style.

The Overdrive channel features an incredibly lively and juicy distortion and will provide you with a wide palette of Blues and Rock tones. The vibrato effect is authentic beating all external simulations. The Reverb effect which is created with a classic long 2-spring Accutronics reverb unit and real tube circuitry broadens your sound with richness and warmth. The unique 10 inch loudspeakers have Alnico magnets guaranteeing a beautifully rich and sweet tone.

The Powertone II offers three channels and two separate Master Volumes for setting two different volume levels, Rhythm and Solo, on each channel.
